How can I help my son manage his ADHD?

Aside from drugs and therapies, what are some basic ways I can help my son to cope at home or in school with his ADHD?

Children with ADHD often respond well to having a set schedule, with a standard routine that they follow every day. You can help your son by creating a daily schedule for him (with study time, sports, engagements, etc..) and posting it in a place where he can see it.

You can also help him by teaching him to keep the items that he needs (school supplies, backpack, medications) in a set place, where he can easily find them.
